NEW: Fast creation of
3D-tool models directly in CATIA V5

The "TDM ToolGraphicBuilder CAAV5 Based" is a new software
tool from TDM Systems to generate tool data and graphics
directly in CATIA V5. This software integrates TDM functions
directly in CATIA V5 via a user interface. The TGB quickly
generates 3D tool graphics in original CATIA V5-format for
symmetrical rotating tools.

Information about tool
assemblies is input directly into CATIA via an online
connection to the TDM database.

The items are assembled
into a 2D tool assembly by using the TDM parts list.

This forms the basis for
generating the 2D tool contour, from which the 3D volume
module emerges on the screen.

|
The 3D models are
geometrically and dimensionally correct.

Cutting and non-cutting
parts are identified and are displayed in different
colours.
