The use of tool information at all decision-making and functional levels increases the agility and efficiency of metal cutting companies. TDM Systems will show metalworking businesses at the AMB how they can use TDM's most recent software modules in a smart factory to fully record and manage production resources. At least 15% of the total cost of ownership can be saved when companies gather and use data comprehensively.
TDM Systems will present the current version, TDM 2018, with various new functions and interfaces. Data import, data handling and graphics editing have been further enhanced. Users will benefit from the increased level of automation, considerably saving them time.
In addtion, TDM Systems will present TDM Global Line 2018 which has been further developed. As part of this line, the TDM Shopfloor Manager and TDM Machine Process Control (MPC) modules will ensure significantly more transparency at the manufacturing level. Every user can take advantage of the modules’ apps, for example, to arrange their individual scope of tasks on a daily basis. The function 3D tool assembly is the highlight because it saves users a great deal of time. At its booth, TDM Systems will demonstrate how easy it is to design the tools in 3D and how efficiently the tool crib can be managed thanks to this solution. Work is made much simpler by the TDMcheck process, which checks data and processes in the TDM application and provides suggestions for improvement.
TDM Cloud Line for the entry-level segment
In order to make Tool Data Management cost-efficient for small companies, too, TDM Systems is adding TDM Cloud Line to its product range. At AMB, the TDM Cloud Line "JobShop" and TDM Cloud Line "Tooling" solutions will be presented. These entry-level solutions enable companies such as contract manufacturers to optimize their plans and the use of their tools. Based on the work plan it is visualized which processes are performed to produce the tools and which tools and fixtures are processed. Thus, a knowledge base is built for customers step by step.
In addition, updates to TDM 2018 or TDM Global Line 2018 can easily be performed anytime. This is due to the fact that these solutions are based on the same technology and that all versions are further developed in parallel.
