Industry 4.0 needs digital tools, since a large part of the added value is generated by the chip. In order to optimize the use and availability of tools, TDM Systems has developed the Tool Lifecycle Management Strategy. Whether in planning or production, digital tools are created, selected, planned, simulated, and made available on the shop floor level at the machine just-in-time. How this works in practice is demonstrated in a video with our customer GROB-Werke.
