2024 releases: TDM Global Line and TDM ClassiX

The machining industry never stops evolving – this a challenge that we are happy to take on. TDM's TDM Global Line (GL) and TDM ClassiX (CLX) software lines are being continuously developed to meet the needs of users and with a view to tackling the future challenges facing machining companies. Our focus is on further developing the systems based on experience gained in applications and practice, which is why we incorporate concrete suggestions for improvement from users into our software releases.

We develop with you in mind – that's why we are pleased to present the 2024 releases for TDM Global Line and TDM ClassiX. Here is an overview of the most important highlights.

Optimal data

More integrated expertise and efficient extensions for the digital assembly of tools

  • Predefined tool assembly templates for different tool types enable even simpler assembly without any errors (CLX)
  • Support for more than four insertion points on the workpiece side to make more complex tools easier to assemble (GL & CLX)
  • Option to display ISO 13399 parameters (GL & CLX)
  • Better visualization in the 3D tool assembly(GL)
    • Integration of data transfer into the 3D assembly dialog
    • Display of the parts list as a tree structure
  • Shared widget and editing dialog for insertion points and separation points (GL)
  • Grooving and turning tools can now be set up "overhead " according to their area of application (GL)

  • New TDM ScanEasy module: Mobile barcode scanner solution – for easy handling in the production environment: Real-time booking via Wi-Fi, browser-based, modern and efficient (GL and CLX)
  • Extensions in the TDMstoreasy cabinet software: New features include the booking of tool assemblies, gauge and calibration equipment and fixtures, as well as direct access to data from the TDM WebCatalog for optimal data management 
  • TDM Purchase Requisition Module: Transfer of order requests via Excel export to the ERP system – ideal for users without a direct ERP connection (GL)
  • NEW: Additional interface modules control the LED pointers from Kardex and Hänel and the Kardex LED Navigator, making it easier to retrieve stock locations during storage and retrieval (GL and CLX)
  • TDMshopcontrol: Gauge and calibration equipment and fixtures can now also be planned and booked to ensure a transparent flow of operating resources to the machine (CLX)

New manufacturers, new data, complete update – with over 345,000 tool data from the cloud

  • Currently 11 manufacturers: New additions are SARTORIUS Werkzeuge and OSG
  • Scope of data: Around 345,000 tool data records available
