No matter whether you're a longstanding TDM user or an interested party, the TDM system offers diverse applications, modules and interfaces. The fact that the two software lines TDM and TDM Global Line are compatible offers you many advantages. Longstanding TDM customers can, for example, quite easily connect new production sites – with high-performance TDM Global Line technology.
New users start with TDM Global Line and supplement this with TDM modules for the areas for which there are currently no Global Line modules yet. One way or another, they use the pooled tool management expertise of the market leader and benefit in many ways: Cost reductions, time savings and a greater ability to act thanks to consistent transparency are just some of the advantages of TDM.
We are setting new trends with our software and supporting further developments in shopfloor digitalization. In particular, Global Line shopfloor management and the possibilities of machine connections will play an ever greater role in the future. Ultimately, digitally organized tool circulation and automatic data flow in and out of the machine reduce the costs and sources of error relating to the machine.
New digitalization level
With digital shopfloor management, you achieve a new digitalization level on your shopfloor and take a big step in the direction of Industry 4.0. We work on practical solutions for the implementation of machine connections – also together with partners– and can already report the first successful customer applications. Internal development projects drive forward the implementation of data exchange.
For Jean-Paul Seuren, Managing Director at TDM Systems, "machine connections are a 'logical step' in the further development of tool management. Development in shopfloor digitalization is going quite clearly in the direction of a closed data flow." With new technologies and partners, TDM enables reading and writing data exchange with the machine control system. In the future, this will be "an essential building block for optimizing the entire shopfloor".

Are you considering connecting another production site? With TDM Global Line, you can connect the production of additional plants in next to no time. Only the installation of a TDM Global Line client is required for the connection. In the user administration of Global Line, the full data use and access permissions can be individually defined in the central data inventory. The connected plant can, depending on requirements, use the database of the headquarters and/or build up additional data. Onboarding employees is also very easy. On the one hand, this is due to the fact, that TDM Global Line is very user-friendly and intuitive to operate and, on the other hand, to the fact that tool management expertise from the headquarters can be accessed.
